Pieces of Carmilla top [PRE-ORDER]

A fully corded and boned velvet corset-style top, with the cording forming embossed diagonal lines evoking the image of musculature.

It includes 4 lacing panels: three in front and one at the back, while being size-adjustable and customizable depending on the wearer's preference to show more or less skin between the laces, along with removable modesty panels to allow for more coverage.

The three lacing panels in front run vertically and diagonally, forming the image of three swords that meet at the tip. The back lacing meanwhile runs up to the nape like a spine and attaches to a collar that ties at the front of the neck.

Inspired by 16th-century 'bodies', the progenitor of the stays or corset--a type of undergarment worn as a structural garment.

Materials: Velvet, polyester cord, plastic bones, corded lace, polyester interfacing, Qiana silk, metal grommets, satin ribbons

Washing instructions: Hand-washing recommended. May be machine-washed but cannot be machine-dried due to the non-fabric materials used such as boning. Comes with a complementary mesh bag to separate the piece from other items being washed. Please make sure all ribbons are tied before washing to prevent knotting during washes.
